Cookie Policy
This site keeps things simple: one set of analytics cookies, used only with your consent, and nothing for advertising. This page explains exactly what is stored on your device and how to change your mind.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work the same way. Some are essential for a site to work; others, like analytics, are optional and only set if you agree.
What we use
- Analytics cookies (optional — only with your consent): Google Analytics cookies named
_gaand_ga_*, which help us understand how the site is used (pages visited, how people found us). They last up to 2 years. The data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify you, and we do not use advertising cookies of any kind. - Your cookie choice (essential): a single local-storage entry named
elan-consentthat remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask you on every visit.
Consent
Analytics is switched off by default. Google's "Consent Mode" holds Google Analytics in a cookieless state until you press Accept on the cookie banner — only then are analytics cookies set. If you choose Essential only, no analytics cookies are ever placed.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
Third parties
Analytics is provided by Google. You can read how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy.
